What we do
We believe that St John’s is friendly open parish church. Our worship area is modern and is part of a Church Centre, which is used on a weekly basis by church organisations and many local Community groups. In addition to our main Sunday Service, we also operate Cell Groups which meet regularly in local homes.
St Lawrence & St Paul’s Churches
We have a mutual Twinning Agreement with these churches which are based in Kirkdale, North Liverpool.
We support the children and staff of this Orphanage in prayer and with finances.
This is mainly providing prayer and financial support for the staff and children of the Hogar el Alba Orphanage,Argentina.
Our Church has a team of people involved with a national programme called “Open the Book” which takes the stories of the Bible into a local Infants School. We also have a number of people who form part of the Chaplaincy team at our local Riverside College, and we also have a church member on the Chaplaincy team at our local Hospital.
